Portabello Griglia $
Grilled hearty Italian wild mushroom with roasted plum tomato, peppers, and mixed Caesar greens.

Calamari Santorini $
Lightly breaded rings and tentacles served with a garlic aoili sauce. Lightly fried. A popular food throughout all Mediterranean countries but especially in Italy and Greece.

Polenta E Fungi Portabello $
Grilled polenta triangles topped with a mushroom ragout in a cream sauce.

SALADS
Prasini Salata (Green Salad)

A traditional fresh taverna salad. Romaine lettuce cut fine, fresh dill, scallions, and red onions. Garnished with tomato and stuffed grape leaf. Lightly tossed with extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and a touch of feta.

Caesar Salad $
Crisp romaine leaves with spiced croutons, pecorino cheese, red onion, olives, and fresh tomato. Tossed with a classic anchovy dressing (no egg) and topped with crispy leeks.

Niko calls this "agouradomatosalata!" but it's Greek to us. Tomato, cucumber, red onion, green peppers, parsley, feta cheese, and calamata olives. Lightly tossed in oil and vinegar and capped with a stuffed grape leaf.
Vegetarians, and heartwatchers: You can order this without the feta cheese!

SOUPS
Avgolemono

A Greek's answer to a New Yorker's chicken soup.
Rice and chicken in a soul-strengthening stock thickened with egg and lemon. Perfect as is, but we suggest an extra squeeze of lemon and freshly ground pepper. Garnish. Soups made here daily.

Pasta Fagiole** $
Italy's delicious and nutritious soup of natural stock with carrots, celery, parsley, beans, and pasta. Vitamins in a bowl.

Niko's Bouillabaisse $
(Kakavia) Fresh fish combination soup.
Fish fillet, mussel, shrimp, clams, fresh vegetables, and fresh herbs in a tasty fish broth.
